Douglas E. Lasch, AIA, LEED AP

Mr. Lasch founded Faith Environ Studio to focus on providing responsive architectural services to faith-based and other non-profit clients. Responsive architecture proposes unique solutions to problems of all sizes and complexities that are methodically analyzed in preparation of multiple solutions that obtain the best value for the client. Potential solutions are reviewed together with the entire project team including the client and contractor to determine the most successful solution that meets budget, program, and aesthetic requirements.

Mr. Lasch has a wealth of past experience solving problems that have encompassed a broad range of project types, aesthetic styles, and technical solutions to complex problems in design and construction of new and old buildings. His architectural expertise encompasses both contemporary and traditional styles, and includes new construction as well as additions and renovations to historic buildings. Past experience includes a multitude of religious facilities for many different denominations, and his professional background also includes a broad range of building types such as affordable housing, universities, corporate offices, industrial buildings, banks, retail stores, and multi and single-family housing.

Besides his dedication to working on religious architecture projects, Doug enjoys spending time, bicycling, fly fishing, drumming, and photographing architecture during travels.
