St. John’s Catholic Newman Center Chapel Ground Floor

Renovating the lower level of the Chapel to provide more space for student activities and lounge areas, and modernizing offices and meeting rooms, will benefit the Catholic college student community greatly.

Given the context of St. John’s Catholic Newman Center at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the future enhancements will further support its role as a spiritual and residential hub for the large Catholic student population on campus. By improving the facilities, the Newman Center can continue to offer a welcoming and functional space for the thousands of Catholic Illini and the residents of Newman Hall.
