Peckish Pig Restaurant & Brewery

Evanston, Illinois

This is a new restaurant and brewery in a former retail building that was built in 1928. The building was previously divided into small commercial tenant spaces.

The tenant space dividing walls were removed to expose the interior columns. Ceilings and plaster wall surfaces were removed to feature the exposed wood roof structure and brick bearing walls.

The building wraps around an outdoor courtyard that is used for seasonal dining and music entertainment. A small brewery is located in a former multi-car garage space. The garage slab was removed and the floor dug out in order to make room for the height required by the brew tanks.
